About
You can't beat the location of such a quaint charming house in Brooklyn's most exciting and culturally diverse neighborhood!
In April 2006 Interview Magazine had a photo shoot in Regina's New York B&B with the actress Rosie Perez for their June issue. (Ever seen Jim Jarmusch's Night On Earth or It Could Happen to You with Nicolas Cage? Then you know how funny she can be!)
Your European-born host speaks French, German, Spanish, Czech and naturally English. New York has been my home for more than 20 years and I love the city more than ever! Your host is always there to assist you during your stay and knows "all" the bookstores... and you can know them too.
Whatever your needs in New York may be, your host has the answer and can provide you with lots of travel-tips which you won't find in any guide. My home is your home during your stay in the Big Apple. Have a look at the official NYC Portal, where you will find helpful links.

Neighborhood
Fort Greene is a cultural center. You are only few steps away from BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music), where you can catch a movie, the ballet, an opera or a play. Fort Greene is also a Jazz lovers hub. The Fort Greene Neighborhood is a historical district of NYC. In addition to BAM there is the Mark Morris Dance Company around the corner and the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York Transit Museum, and the Brooklyn Historical Society in historic Brooklyn Heights are all a stone's throw away.
Brooklyn has many things to offer! The house is perfectly located if you need to visit Pratt Institute, Long Island University, Brooklyn Tech, and Brooklyn Hospital... and is only a subway stop away from Manhattan.
Restaurants found throughout the neighborhood are many and varied and will appeal to all tastes and all pocket books. From a small snack to an elegant dinner. Italian, French, German, Middle Eastern, Japanese, or Thai are a few of the tastes that you will find along with traditional American fare, including the world famous Junior's Restaurant (the place for all true cheesecake aficionados).
